Decca coordinates (part-time) the efforts of the Roanoke Valley Trauma Informed Community Network or RVTICN. The RVTICN is one of 30+ TICNs across Virginia and is anchored locally under Children's Trust. The RVTICN seeks to connect organizations to better understand, prevent, and address Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and trauma in our community. The RVTICN drives a learning cohort of organizations that are delving into the work of creating trauma-informed systems. In addition, the RVTICN provides training and resources for the community with the goal of fostering resiliency and connection in the Roanoke Valley.
